Your choice of pillow and duvet are also incredibly important when trying to create the perfect night time space. I prefer duck and goose down quilts, simply because they are breathable in the summer and they keep you warm in the winter.
To make sure that you bed is as comfy as it could possibly be you could also invest in a mattress topper. These will also help to protect your mattress.
The thing that is also important to think about is what you do in your bedroom; do you lie back and listen to music? Do you watch TV?
A lot of people are against having a TV in the bedroom, but some people find it easier to drift off if they have background noise. Making your bedroom fit your needs is incredibly important, there is no need to design your bedroom the way that you think it should be.

When you start to think about décor you should incorporate cool colours and maybe a small splash of colour.
Printed wallpaper on one wall can create a very funky look. Interesting wallpapers include books, patterns and floral decorations. If you were feeling particularly daring then you could use brick wallpaper behind your bed. There are several ways that you can jazz up your room using different wallpapers, fabrics and textures. If you have a plain paint colour then you will get more use out of the design.
The use of different fabrics in the room will make the room feel more luxurious, by creating different levels in the room. You can bring in textures in the wallpaper, cushions, throws, and curtains.
