Transnational Indicators
The partners agreed a set of 16 Key Transnational Indicators (TNIs) for monitoring and comparison, and 19 sub-indicators that may not apply to all partners. These TNIs enabled the measurement of progress against the agreed workplan, as well as the measurement of comparable data to see how and why results and outcomes may be affected by approach, location, etc.
The Transnational Indicators are set out below:
TN1. Number of beneficiaries engaged
- % of beneficiaries who are homeless
- % of beneficiaries who are male/female
- % of beneficiaries who are migrants, or from ethnic minorities
- % of beneficiaries who are refugees or asylum seekers
- % of beneficiaries who have physical or mental impairment or illness
- % of beneficiaries who are substance abusers
- % of beneficiaries who are ex-prisoners
- % of beneficiaries who are under 25 years
- % of beneficiaries who are 25-50 years
- % of beneficiaries who are over 50 years
TN2. Number of beneficiaries into training
- Number of beneficiary training days, weeks, or activities held (please specify which)
TN3. Number of beneficiaries into jobs
- Number of new beneficiary jobs created
- Number of beneficiaries becoming self-employed
- Number of beneficiaries into supported jobs (e.g. supported workschemes or placements, not in the open labour market)
- Number of beneficiaries into jobs in the open labour market
- Number of beneficiaries employed in social enterprises
- Number of new social enterprises created
TN4. Number of beneficiaries sustaining jobs after six months
- Number of beneficiaries sustaining jobs after six months in supported employment schemes
- Number of beneficiaries sustaining jobs after six months in the open labour market
TN5. Number of beneficiaries empowered (e.g. through involvement in the programme’s decision-making, focus groups, exchanges, etc.)
TN6. Number of employers involved directly (e.g. through providing work experience or placements, making a direct project input, etc.)
TN7. Number of employers involved indirectly (e.g. through information sharing, awareness events, etc.)
TN8. Number of staff trained
TN9. Changes and improvements made to delivery practice by partners as a result of the collaboration
TN10. Changes and improvements made to management by partners as a result of the collaboration
TN11. Changes and improvements made by external agencies as a result of the collaboration and dissemination (policy or practice)
TN12. Number of planned technical meetings attended per year per partner
TN13. Percentage of internal and external deadlines met by partners (e.g. internal: monitoring data, contribution to web-page, external: submission dates for TCA monitoring, etc.)
TN14. Percentage of positive feedback on exchanges/seminars – staff
TN15. Percentage of positive feedback on exchanges/seminars – beneficiaries
TN16. Increase in level of participation and influence of beneficiaries over the life of the work programme
